Expectation: The Posture of Receiving

Our Precious Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

It is with prayerful hearts and sincere anticipation that we share this message with you, as we approach the upcoming Creating Opportunities Believers Gathering taking place on Thursday September 25th until Monday September 29th 2025.

We understand that no single gathering can answer every question or meet every need. Yet, we believe it can be a meaningful step. A safe, prayerful space for brothers and sisters in the Message community, aged 27 and older, to come together under The Word and in the presence of The Holy Spirit, with hearts and minds set on the right expectations.

Why “Expectations”?

Because the right outcome begins with the right expectation. And in the realm of faith, relationships, and especially in preparation for marriage, what we expect reveals what we believe. And what we believe shapes what we receive.

If you’re expecting it, you will receive it. You usually get what you expect to get. If you come to the meeting tonight, expecting to find something to criticize the meeting, the devil will show you. He will see that you get satisfied. You get what you expect. If you come to get a blessing, God will see that you get it. If you come to get saved, God will see you get it. If you come to get healed, be expecting to get healed. God will see that you do it. It’s whatever you’re expecting.

What Are You Expecting?

Let’s be honest, some may come to the conference expecting to find a spouse. Others might come to observe with cautious curiosity. And still others may come unsure, uncertain, perhaps even critical. We won’t condemn any of those starting points.

What we will lovingly do is ask:

Is what you’re expecting aligned with what God has promised?

Are you expecting God to show up? Are you expecting Him to work in you before He ever brings someone to you? Are you expecting a “quick fix” or a faithful walk?

Now, always God has had someone who believed His Word. Somebody’s going to expect God to fulfill His Word, while others pass It by.

The Word & Expectations: Let’s Get Rooted

Expectations aren’t wishful thinking. They’re the fruit of faith planted in the soil of God’s promises.

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
— Hebrews 11:6

Faith is not passive. It’s active. It moves. It positions itself for manifestation. And it waits with joy. Not despair.

“They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles…”
— Isaiah 40:31

This initiative is NOT about rushing anyone toward the altar or pairing people together.

What to Expect at the Conference?

From the very first session to the closing remarks, this gathering is designed to stir the heart, renew the mind, and strengthen the spirit.

You can expect workshops that go beyond surface topics, spaces where we engage with real questions about life, relationships, purpose, and faith, guided by message principles. Prayer will be woven throughout, not as a formality, but as a lifeline, bringing our needs, hopes, and praises before the Lord together.

Through impactful conversations, we will share testimonies, insights, and challenges, learning from one another’s journeys. In times of fellowship, we’ll build genuine connections, rooted in shared faith and mutual encouragement.

Our worship will lift our hearts, creating an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit can move freely. Through the ministry of the Word, we will be inspired to walk more closely with Christ.

But above all else, more than any program, activity, or moment, we expect and long for the Presence of God to be among us, shaping everything we do. Because in His presence, lives are changed, hearts are healed, and destinies are aligned with His will.

“Where two or three are gathered in My name, I’ll be in their midst.”
— Matthew 18:20

We’re praying, not just for logistics, lodging, or leadership; we are praying for the Holy Spirit to direct every conversation, every workshop, every moment of reflection. We want hearts to be stirred, minds renewed, and lives positioned for God’s perfect will.

So what we’ve got to do is get back into the program of God and find out, after all, what God wants us to do, and the only way I know to do it is prayer; prayer is the key, that’s the answer, prayer changes things. 26 Prayer is the most powerful weapon that was ever put in the—the control of human beings, there’s no atomic bomb, or no hydrogen bomb as powerful as prayer.

Join Us in Prayer! Starting Tuesday August 19th !

As we count down to September 25th, we humbly ask you to:

Pray for the meetings.
Pray for the ministers and speakers.
Pray for one another.
Pray for yourself; That you may come with expectation and not just curiosity. With faith and not fear. With surrender and not frustration.

Because when our expectations are aligned with His promises, we are in position to receive something eternal.

God will reveal Himself to those who are expecting Him.

Beginning Tuesday, August 19th, and every Tuesday thereafter, we will join virtually with believers from around the world to lift these special meetings up in prayer. Twice each day; 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM New York Time, we’ll unite our hearts before the Lord, wherever we are: in our rooms, at our desks, in our cars, or wherever life finds us. These times are set to accommodate different time zones, so that saints across the globe can stand together in one spirit and one accord.

Please note: These virtual prayer chains are NOT on Zoom; each participant will pray individually while still connecting spiritually with believers worldwide.

A Global Family Gathering

This is an international event. That means we’re expecting different cultures, backgrounds, testimonies, and stories. But one Lord. One Faith. One Body.

And in that unity, God has promised to command the blessing.

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!… for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.”
— Psalm 133:1,3

A Final Word on Expectations

If your goal is to collect a phone number or a social media contact, this is not the event for you. But if you come seeking faith, fellowship, and a deeper encounter with God’s Word, you’ll leave with far more than you imagined; souls stirred, hearts encouraged, and a spirit renewed.

… faith doesn’t look at what circumstances is; faith looks to what God says. Faith don’t try to reason. Faith just takes it at its face value.
